Originally from Brisbane,Australia Aaron Cash is a talented performer and one of the original members of Tap Dogs.
At the young age of 19, world-renowned choreographer Kenny Ortega (Michael Jackson’s ‘This is It’, Dirty Dancing and High School Musical) cast Aaron in Cher’s Love Hurts Tour. This opportunity culminated in an impressive 10-year touring relationship as Cher’s lead dancer. His amazing talent drew the attention of many high-profile artists in the industry including: Paula Abdul, Michael Jackson, Prince, the legendary Frank Sinatra and many more. Aaron can be found in numerous music videos, award shows, commercials and concert tours.
In 1992, Twyla Tharp hand-picked Aaron to become her personal Pas de Deux partner and Mikhail Baryshnikov added Aaron to the Tharp Baryshnikov and Dancers world tour.
Aaron’s innovative and creative skills as a performer, choreographer and artistic consultant are highly sought after, all over the world. Recently, Aaron choreographed the internationally acclaimed hit show Ballet ‘Revolucion’, from which two of his pieces were invited to be performed before Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II at her 60th Jubilee Royal Variety Performance. Aaron just finished co-creating the sold out smash hit ‘Balle Tronic’ at the 2015 Edinburgh festival.
In 2014 he was invited to be a Judge on the Australian Version of “So You Think You Can Dance” along with Paula Abdul.
Aaron’s range as a performer/ Creator are vast: from being the face of Johnnie Walker’s worldwide advertising campaign Human – Keep Walking to performing the role of the Matador in the Los Angeles Opera’s production of ‘La Traviata’ starring world famous soprano Renee Fleming. Aaron has been featured in films such as Titanic, Hook, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. His television credits include Mad Men, 24, 90210 and Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles, to name a few.
Aaron enjoys traveling the world choreographing, performing and embracing life with his wife, their three daughters and four adopted rescue dogs.
