Mark Summers Artist, Alice Rosano features in new TreSemme campaign
Alice Rosano, a dancer, was recently selected from a huge talent pool to feature in the new Tresemme campaign. This campaign was cast by Mark Summers and Alice is represented by Mark Summers Management.
Originally from a small town near Turin in Italy, Alice has been dancing since she was six years old.
She comes from an active and creative family with a brother involved in the martial arts, a sister who is a musician and a father who used to teach yoga.
Alice really enjoyed the shoot after a fairly lengthy casting process involving recalls. She says: ‘Everyone was positive and excited about this project. The direction was great, specific and clean. A few hours were enough to film a character and still have fun and experiment a little.’
She goes on to say that they had a full day of wardrobe fittings, hair prep and rehearsals to make sure everyone was happy with the results. ‘We tried a lot of different hair styles and looks, with different outfits and combinations.’
She felt lucky to get to shoot inside a climbing gym where she was filmed bouldering, a form of rock climbing that is performed without the use of ropes or harnesses. She was grateful for the opportunity to visit the climbing centre a few days before the shoot and meet the climbing community there.
Alice says, ‘the best part for me was the actual climbing scene; the route was quite easy, but I still had to do big movements.’
She was impressed by the amount of people working ‘behind the scenes’ and the wide range of different Nationalities involved in both the cast and the crew. And the long hours that everyone worked.
She originally trained in dance in Italy learning ballet, contemporary, jazz and tap. She then moved to the UK to further her career where she maintains her training at Studio68 and Pineapple, studios we know well and often work with.
She is now focusing more on commercial and freestyle and learning new skills like tricks, open climbing sessions and martial arts. She recently started to follow a Shaolin program that includes Buddhist meditation and Kung Fu.
Alice would like to become more involved in the commercial and fashion world. ‘I’m learning so many new skills and I’m hoping to be able to use them soon on camera.’
